Woodrush High School

An Academy for Students Aged 11-18

Courses & Entry Requirements

Woodrush Sixth Form ensures that students follow a taught curriculum and pastoral programme of study, which includes high-quality impartial careers guidance to enable students to make progress and move on to a higher level of qualification, employment or further training.

The majority of Year 12 students opt for 3 A Level courses, with a minority of students, taking 4 A Levels in the AS year, reducing to 3 in the A2 year.

We support four pathways of curriculum: Oxbridge, University, Apprenticeships and work, and students commonly follow a programme of study which becomes personalised and adapted towards their destination choice, throughout the two years with us and increasingly as they make firm decisions about their future plans. We pride ourselves on our ability to create bespoke curriculum and support packages personalised for our students’ needs.

Please note the entry requirement for Sixth Form is a GCSE grade 5 or above in English Language and Maths. You will also need to meet your chosen subject entry requirements as in the information below.
