Applying for a Teacher Training place

 

You need to apply for Teacher Training places through the Get into teaching website: Apply for teacher training

Information about the different courses on offer and the different schools involved are on their website.  You will also find guidance here on how to complete your application form.  This site will also have up to date information about the places available and any deadlines you need to meet.

Graduates pay a tuition fee to the University but may be eligible for a bursary of up to £27,000, subject to criteria such as degree classification and subject.  Attractive scholarships are also available for some shortage subjects in secondary of up to £29,000.

Teaching bursaries and scholarships are available for the subjects listed below for 2024-2025. You cannot receive both a teaching bursary and a scholarship.
